Norfolk Trip Continued

Yesterday morning after a leisurely start and a hearty breakfast I dropped my birder’s wife off at Burnham Market so that she could browse and shop to her heart’s content and I went off and did a spot of birding.  I then picked her up just after midday and we found a spot in a country lane nearby where we parked up and had some lunch while watching a pair of Marsh Harriers quartering a field.  Also in the vicinity where three Turtle Doves and lots of Stock Doves.

After lunch, we decided to pay a visit to Titchwell again where we walked to the Parinder Hide and back before heading for home.  As per the previous day there was a Little Gull and two Spotted Redshanks and in addition a Spoonbill.  The Avocets were particularly showy being just outside the hide which provided lots of photo opportunities.
